I think they said in a previous chapter that most people can get wind, water, or earth magic, but others like thunder and fire are rarely acquired. So they probably turned the more popular ones into tourist traps.
Or it’s to prevent too many young men using wind magic casually to flip skirts everywhere. I mean, if it cost that much, not that many would spend it just to flip skirts.

Well if you ask me, Wind magic is easily attainable than thunder, hence using supply and demand Wind is more profitable so they made it expensive as many people would flock on that. Thunder on the other hand has probably some hard as hell requirements to actually gain blessings so hardly anyone can gain something out of it so it is cheap.
i think its because un cant acquire lightning magic if you are not expose in lightning everyday like the farmer for earth and fisherman for water but i think our mc and his sister can acquire cause they are expose everyday in appliances.

But “lightning” isn´t something people get into contact with – usually.
After all you will be roasted if you “make contact” with lightning.
Therefore touching the lightning magic crystal probably has a chance of being close to 0 for the people of that world to acquire magic.
Hence it´s cheap.
But Aya and the MC coming from a modern world where they are surrounded by lots of electrical devices all the time will be guaranteed to obtain “lightning magic” because electricity and lightning are fundamentally the same.
