recovery magic is for HP after all, and MP is the fuel to heal.
its like a doctor healing people with money as fuel. You cant just use money to create more money without nothing in between.
should have at least make it heal 90MP while using 100MP(candy can’t just be made out of nothing).
only then will the +1 show some slight better recovery will make more sense.
In the 7th saga on snes there one character that use élixir magic work like the one from final fantaisie série 100% hp/mp cost only 80mp and the priest using it has à mana pool of 420
thats the problem: the author tried to make the world way too game-like.
i mean its okay to put game elements in the world if you know how to do it, but not like this

…theoretically, this is just a continuation of a previous element that was brought up and forgotten. There was that body enhancement magic that could restore double the magic power invested, but it did so over 10 minutes (which, in game terms, was a nice balance, since you may not have that luxury). So this could be a continuation of that.
Only far more broken, since this allows you to straight up store magic recovery items, and you can make it with a quick casting. If this was a 1 for 1 for mp used and recovered, then I could see it as fair. This little girl has a lot of fairly powerful magics, so her mp is fairly high- it could logically fully refill may 5-10 people, or partially refill maybe 50 for minimum ability. That could be enough to maintain a military squad, which is very helpful and may be an equally good use of the magic as just blasting with fire. And if Seiji used it, then he could keep an entire army rolling.
Another question- why are the demons bad in a protracted war then? There is a normal body enhancement spell that is ‘use this for long battles’
