Thanks for the chapter, it’s sad that Elena din’t realised that if she is his imouto “technically” she can marry him

Only if she’s his imouto by birth; step-siblings can still marry, no country has laws against that (that I know of anyway) and in Japan you can even marry your cousin. Plus, last I checked, she wasn’t a part of their family register. The laws and customs in her world are also probably different from the laws here.

Thinking about it, aren’t they (Elena and Hilda) actually staying in Japan illegally? They aren’t citizens and they have neither passport nor visa.

i know, that’s why i wrote “technically” and not technically(see the diference?), the question was more taking in fact the mentality of the characters since the “normal” japonese in these stories woud have a mental breakdown and run to the hill like the nowday Shounen Jump MC Wuss they are

    in Appraisal
    │Trial: Monster subjugation 0/100

    and then MC says this

“「There seems to be no problem.

Alright, the next trial is 300 monsters.

    Well, do it slowly.」

    「Yes!」

Does the number of monsters to defeat in the trial gradually increases?

As expected, it seems to be impossible to clear it in a day.

So like he said, I’ll do it slowly. ”

    its not contradiction ?
